Albendazole 100.0 mg Oral Solution

Description
White suspension with a specific odor.

The composition of
1 ml of the drug contains:
albendazole -100.0 mg of
filler up to 1 ml.

Pharmacological action
Albendazole, an antiparasitic agent belonging to the group of benzimidazoles that inhibit protein (tubular) synthesis, thereby disrupting the supply and intracellular transport of nutrients and metabolism of substrates (adenosine triphosphate and fuchrosalum reaction), as well as , which leads to a decrease in glycogen and the death of parasites from depletion.
Albendaeol is a broad-spectrum drug designed to treat parasitic diseases caused by gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (roundworms), cestodes (tapeworms) and hepatic trematodes.

Application
Recommended for the prevention and treatment of helminthic diseases of cattle.
– Gastrointestinal nematodes:
Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia ostertagi, Trichostrongylus axis, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Nematodirus helvetianus.
– Pulmonary nematodes:
Dictyocaulus viviparus. •
Cestodes (tapeworms): Moniezia Expans.
– Hepatic trematodes:
Fasciola hepatic (mature forms).

Dosage

Prophylactic deworming is carried out:
– Before the vaccination program;
– Newly arrived animals (animals are not taken out to pasture before deworming for 8 hours);
– Calves one and a half months after breeding and repeated every month and a half;
– Adult cattle in the fall before transfer to the stall.
For therapeutic purposes, deworming is carried out:
– In the diagnosis of helminthiasis;
– In diarrhea caused by Ostertagia spp, which may occur in winter, treatment is carried out in two stages with an interval of four days between doses.
Albendazole 10% is administered once individually to each animal. Standard instruments are used to insert the drug into the animal’s mouth as deeply as possible.
Shake well before use.

Warnings
Meat can be eaten in 14 days, and milk – in 4 days after the last administration of the drug. If the face before the deadline meat used to feed carnivorous animals and milk vypoyuyut unproductive animals
