Description:

The solution is yellowish.

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient:

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 100 mg

Pharmachologic effect:

Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that acts on the ribosomes of bacteria, interfering with protein synthesis. The drug has a wide spectrum of action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Campylobacter spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordatella), as well as actinomycetes, protozoa, spirochetes and ricoplasts chlamydia.

Application:

Treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs and arthritis of bacterial etiology in cattle, calves, pigs, sheep and goats.

Dosage:

Intramuscularly or subcutaneously at a dose

• For adults: 1 ml per 10 kg of live weight once a day for 3 – 5 days.
• For young animals 2 ml per 10 kg of live weight once a day for 3 – 5 days.

Do not inject more than 20 ml in cattle, 10 ml in pigs and 5 ml in other animals per injection site.

Contraindications:

Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to oxytetracycline, as well as to animals with impaired liver and kidney function. Do not use concomitantly with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.

Warning:

The slaughter of animals for meat and the use of milk for human consumption is allowed, respectively, 14 and 4 days after the last use of the drug. Until the specified time, meat and milk are fed to unproductive animals or disposed of (depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian).

Release form:

Bottles made of dark glass are closed with a rubber stopper for an aluminum rim of 100 ml.

Storage:

A dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 15 ° C to 25 ° C.

After the first selection from the vial, the drug must be used within 14 days, under storage conditions in a dark place at a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C
