Aluspray Spray vetoquinol 127 ml for horses for dogs
Composition and form of release
Alusprey is an aerosol for the protective treatment of the wound surface, as active ingredients in one bottle contains 12 g of an active suspension obtained from 25 g of aluminum micropowder and auxiliary components. In appearance, it is an odorless, silvery-gray, oily suspension for external use. Packaged in metal spray bottles sealed with polymer lids.
Pharmacological properties
Aluminum, which is part of the preparation, does not penetrate the cell membrane, has astringent and tanning properties. Thanks to the formation of a strong film on the skin surface, granulation processes are accelerated, and during wound healing by secondary tension, the spray reduces the formation of excess scar tissue, which is especially characteristic of horses. The spray effectively protects wounds from the negative effects of environmental factors and possible infection. Alusprey, according to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals, belongs to low-hazard substances and in recommended doses does not have a local irritating, resorptive-toxic and sensitizing effect.
Indications
It is prescribed for agricultural, small pets and poultry to protect the treated wounds.
Doses and method of administration
Before processing, it is necessary to sanitize the wound surface and the skin around. The bottle is vigorously shaken immediately before application and then the aerosol is evenly sprayed from a distance of 20 – 25 cm for several seconds until a thin film is formed on the treated surface. It is recommended to apply the drug by short pressing on the spray head. After treatment, the animal is fixed for 1 – 3 minutes until the product is completely dry. Alusprey is used 1 – 2 times a day for several days, depending on the intensity of the regeneration processes, but not more than 14 days.
